About McBurrz

The mission of McBurrz is to provide powerful and enjoyable software to consumers and businesses, that otherwise might not be able to afford the more expensive alternatives. However, providing open source software open source software is not enough, as many common end users will find that some of these programs may have a steep learning curve. To address this problem, McBurrz also includes exclusive guides and tutorials with its products to help customers get the most out of their software.

In addition to giving back to the open source community with some of its proceeds each year, McBurrz also actively participates and contributes to several non-profit and charitable organizations, including the Mike McNeil Organization and Wish Upon A Hero. The Mike McNeil Organization is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to carrying on the memory of a dear friend, Michael J. McNeil, who passed away from cancer in 2009, through contributing to various cancer research projects in the Boston area. Wish Upon A Hero allows a community of people to help grant the wishes of those in need, using the mantra "No wish too large and no hero too small".
